That was part of the conversation with an older gentlemen that inquired about our services while we were cleaning his daughter Rhonda's home.

He's a pretty "frugal" Gent ..... and Rhonda, (a regular twice a yr custy) already warned me about him.

He "winced" when I quoted him some prices for carpet and upl....I'm not "premium" priced cleaner either.
(we're somewhere between Ken's outfit and Mikie's)
he told me he did his own carpets (with what he described as an OP machine)
i told him we can clean it that way too if he preferred .
then he asked "which is better" ...obviously i told him TM

Then he told me about his other daughter's home ..7 rms for $89 bukz :eekk:
Told me it took the operator 20-30 minutes to do the WHOLE 7 rms
One man with a porty:eekk::eekk::eekk:
He wasn't very impressed and told the dude so.
he was impressed as hell with us and told me so.:clap:

"You can get it done cheap or you can get it done right, Mr Sir, but you can't get both"

and the other line i lay on 'em

"a 15 cent steak isn't worth a nickel if you can't eat it"

I don't know if he'll schedule or not...I suspect he may be little TOO frugal and will continue to spray 'n wipe his own carpets
but at least he now knows the difference in a $15 dollar steak and a 15 cent fake .
