Agreed don't do this for the fun of it, because it will be work. Don't work for low profit margins just to see sales numbers rise. Like the Captain said net profit is what matters, not gross.

im looking at it like this, if i can have the other van out cleaning making money and profiting X amount of money its money that i otherwise couldnt make because of my full schedule. im actually training and gearing up for spring this coming year. sound funny that i do that so early but if it was anything like this spring i will need the other van running to keep up.

it takes time to train, there are like 100 differant carpet cleaning situations they need to learn to handle, and that doesnt even cover

Dunken customers,
suspected meth labs,
crazy ass customers,
the bait and switch customer (yeah you quoted me for 5 rooms at X price not 3 rooms)
how to trouble shoot the tm if there is a problem
when not to bring back the van due to destroying someones house, property, or the tm.
