Can you believe this sump pump just died yesterday?

The owners never checked it in the ten years. That is all hard corrosion, not mud

We pulled 280 gallons from beneath a 260 sq ft room. A gravel concrete combo. Made no sense what so ever how the sub floor was put together but it was 4 feet below grade.

Thanks to Keithco for the sound advice and the Dehu loan

Details please. I thought you didn't do WD, what changed your mind?
Why did you determine it was a cat 3?
What was your procedure and what equipment did you use?
Are you on Craig Lindquist's insurance for this loss?
How are you going to fit all the WD equipment you are going to buy in your garage?
God bless the American dream!

The phone rang and I had nothing else to do

Ground water= Cat 3
What was your procedure and what equipment did you use?
Move remaining furniture, extract water, remove carpet and pad, cut holes in ply wood, extract water from underneath, remove baseboards, set up 4 fans (one hosed into/under staircase and one DE2000 LGR, take carpet to plant and disinfect, clean and dry becuase ins agent and home owner want to save it. returned today to find it totally dry except under staircase.
Are you on Craig Lindquist's insurance for this loss?

Who is he?
How are you going to fit all the WD equipment you are going to buy in your garage?
God bless the American dream!

Why buy when you can rent?

Ground water fills our pristine rivers, streams and reservoirs. It fills our wells and those $1.75 bottles of water you west coasters like to buy. Contaminated ground water is cat 3, oops!, they were probably going to rip that stuff out anyway.
On the bright side it should be ok to save the rug if it was not a cat 3.
