Do the backs from the back. Lean your elbo on the wood top to rest your back.
And got a hole glided stair tool.

I use an upholstery tool on upholstery and a stair tool on stairs.I started this job using my stair tool. It seemed like it was taking longer,because once I got the bulk of pews cleaned, I had to switch over to my upholstery tool to detail it. It was also making me tired faster, and it seemed like it took longer to clean it that way.
