It has begun! My first contract. I will cimex the 1000entrance at a small grocery store every 30 day’s and HWE every 90 days.

I hwe it a few days ago and took yall’s advice on post encapping after the job. They were so impressed, they asked me the best way to manage it. I laid it out for them.

So give me the best process for a 30day job with parking lot junk to attack on that carpet every 30days.

My goal is to have 1full week/month of just cimex work. Is that possible?

Way to go Matt! Glad to hear you scored a good commercial account. Fill up your quiver with a bunch of those and you're in for a nice ride. The commercial accounts normally run year round and can create a steady revenue flow throughout the year. :)

For cleaning: A regular schedule of encap cleaning, and some occasional HWE (as needed) will keep it looking good. The frequency of HWE can be determined as you evaluate the progress of the carpet. With a good routine of encap using a quality encap detergent, you can greatly reduce (sometimes even eliminate) the need for HWE. As you service the carpet with a good encap program keep an eye on the appearance, and inspect the fiber down to the backing. As long as it looks clean you've got a green light. Periodically though it's a good idea to include a full flush to empty out the carpet of any potential build-up; and then resume your encap maintenance afterward.

If you need assistance feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to help any way I can.

Just don't use a FILM FORMER

That bears repeating ! Stay the heck away from film formers, they AREN'T SHAMPOO. THEY are in some cases, cement like. I have dried down over 60 encap products. Literal some can't be cut up with my navy seal knife once dried. That is NOT coming out of the carpet with a dyson, kirby or oreck. You would need to melt it out. Don't fall for the BS that your encap product doesn't need to crystalize, it does. Whittaker wrote the book on encap and spent years perfecting crystallizing shampoo. They were the first and knew they needed crystallization from the start because their first products sold with the original GLS in the late 80's and early 90's didn't. It became real clear to Dick Whittaker that he needed away to remove the dried product from the carpet the crystallization was the answer.

Since you've tried 60 products, which 3 of the 60 do the best crystallizing and which 3 are the worst at leaving that cement like film? I'm very new to encapping, and I have no clue. I'm just depending on the reputable companies right now
