This is no longer Mikeys Board it is a Bait and Switch Board. I learned alot on this board and thank everyone who contributed to my success but all I see now is failure because they allow a Bait and Switch operator influence what is the right thing to do. I didn't work for anyone, I bought my equipment before ever cleaning a carpet and I took my IICRC class before my equipment was delivered. I spent err wasted probably close to $100,000 that I didn't have to because MIKEYs wasn't there when I started and I went to ICS. Unfortunately now if I started out I would be selling my soul in the same fashion by choosing to participate in Mikeys. I have tried to give a nonbiased fact based opinion and my calls weren't heard. If you are going to call it make more money room you should atleast put an asterick that it isn't meant for an owner operator. Good luck

At the same time, items of genuine interest to me...eg Jerry Valentine trying out the Pirhana Technique...get squirrled away into a place where MOST don't want to go...the mlm room.

Didn't the rules of this place exclude hucksters from hanging around...to me that would mean folks that prey on the unsuspecting...now it is accepted that working for 50% on a low sale price is a good idea?? WTF?

Jim....you do realize that 50% is relative right? If you make a $100 from a job you did yourself and then make 50% of a similar job that was $200.00....you made exactly the same money for the same work.

The Groupon deal is just like any other paid advertisement....it's just "paid" a little different....again, it's all relative.

If I do a Groupon job and make $100 in my pocket and do the same job for $150.00 that I had to pay advertising to get.....
