I have a guy that helps me on large commercial cleanings. Nobody is around so I let him bring in a large DeWalt jobsite radio.

Once we were cleaning a realtors office and some realtors came in to get some paperwork. No big deal.

But once we were cleaning a church and he went out to the truck to take a break and I wasnt paying attention. The station played *highway to hell* as I was in the other room. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the pastor walk past. Never cleaned there again.....

I don't need any music when I work. I listen to the note of my truck and the rythym of the air rushing through the wand. Always hoping it stays constant and there are no discordant sounds.

I drive a floor scrubber in a hardware store where they play 60s love songs for most of the year. It's made me invest in better headphones.
I dont listen to much of the crap they play these days, but 60s are not my favorite.

First time I heard Son Volt was on the after-hours Muzak, Cimexing a restaurant carpet. Still a Son Volt fan nearly 20 years later.
