Mytee counter spinner tool

Hi Guys, I've had one of these for about a year, it's used about once a month. Today I took it to a job and it point blank refused to spin although you can turn it with your hand with very little resistance. When I bought it the first one I received had exactly the same problem and was changed. Is this a common problem with them? I use it at 1000-1200psi, the instructions say anything from 500 is ok.

I have recently been using a 8908 Tool with great success. That is, I haven't had any issues with the tool not working properly (and I've been happy with the results). Based on the literature, I know that this tool will operate at psi ratings from 350 to 3000.
