Mytee Fresh Water Pump Review

Aka Johnson aqua jet. it has a little over 1000 hrs and works perfect. I was a little concerned with the fact that it always runs. Instead of a demand switch it uses an internal bypass. Basically the water continues to run in a circle. I've checked the pump head and it remains cool. My fresh tank is heated and the water can exceed 140. It hasn't bothered the pump. I will definitely buy another. I already have a spare demand style on my shelve so it will be interesting to see how it holds up once this one dies. It's a newer version with the digital demand switch.

Nice report. Starting and stopping repeatedly can generate more stress than continuous operation sometimes...
