POS drimaster II.... only had it a couple of years.

1st time i ever dropped it and it sounded like glass breaking.

Now i need a new upholstery tool. Love the drimaster 2 but I ain't buying any more plastic tools!!!!

Can anyone recommend a good continuous flow upholstery tool made of metal?

NOT freaking PLASTIC!!!

I agree with Shorty that Sapphire is a great tool.
It's not metal but it is constructed well, and no metal lips.

You need to take a good look at it.....drop it a time or two in the store....by accident of course.

Been using one for a couple years. It's a miracle it is still together in one piece. Too freakin fragile!

We had Bryan from Sapphire Scientific up here a few weeks ago at an ESS day and he took the Upholstery Pro by the end of the hose and swung it around and smashed it against the ground with full force a half dozen times to the point that the quick connect disconnected. He simply reattached the head and it worked perfect. That's one tough tool.

I only demoed the Saffire tool, but it seemed like a very good one.

I have used the Hydrokinetic tool for over 25 years, so I know it is very good.

I purchased my Hydrokinetic 2 years ago. Love this tool. I do not do an extreame amount of uph but a fair amount. Very durable, I don't think you could break it. Haven't tried the Sapphire yet. Since buying the Hydrokinetic I haven't ever thought about what it would be like to use another, so I suppose that speaks for itself.

Btw, i did take the drimaster apart to see why it sounds like a babies rattle. discovered one of the steel lips got sucked inside when it was dropped from about 2 feet high onto a tile floor. It's still a good tool.

It will be interesting to see how well the Prochem stacks up against it.
