Advertising new machines with used parts. You took that from Vawters book: How To Sell A New TM With Used Parts.

Should all work.
Lee... Butlers has proprietary
machine work on the case....
to accomodate the proprietary
belt tensioner system....[/quote:2wpte0u4]

Our 85 Butler had a 4M, and the idler bolted onto the factory bolt locations...other may have differed.

Normally I do not sell Butler parts unless I have extra. Yes, I have extra proprietary 4.5 Roots Butler (with holes).

1 guaranteed good used $600 + shipping
1 rebuilt with 6 month limited warranty $900 without exchange+ shipping.

Shipping should go big truck on a pallet. It does fit within UPS limits of 125 lbs. However unless a solid crate is built UPS seem to be angry to handle them, and they throw them around.

Sincerely,
Dale

That was before they learned about proprietary (more money in their pocket parts)

Hi:

Butler has proprietory holes just because the belt tensioner won't fit anywhere else.

I have drilled/tapped the holes myself, using a tensioner as a pattern in about 1 hrs time.

I am no longer buying Butlers because 1. I don't have time. 2. Bill Calvert (my buddy) has become a Cleanco delear, and I'm only looking for used Cleanco's.

But I still can't sell Butler blowers any cheaper, because they can be used on Cleanco's even with the Butler holes.

Sincerely,
Dale

Hi Bob:

Yes, as long as the Genie shaft and the Cleanco are close to the same length, & height. Or at least close enough that belt can be aligned.
