Agree a concentrated neutral cleaner plus one that has no chelating agents which makes the product harder to rinse from stone and has no solvents that would attack sealers with repeated use.

Here is what I suggest, Spinergy Vivid - http://interlinksupply.com/index.php?item_num=CST03GL

You can build into the price and leave it with the customer or sell it to them.

I suggest to all clients that they use.
1 Gallon Purified water.
1 tsp Dawn Dishsoap (more is not better)
4-5 microfiber mop heads.

Water all by itself is a solvent Purified water is a better solvent. The water will try to replace all of the minerals that have been removed by the filtering process. Dawn is not used as a cleaning agent but to lower the water tension so the water is able to atract more dirt. Microfiber mop heads are much better at pulling the dirt away from the floor and holding it then regular mops.

Dunk the Microfiber mop head in to the gallon of water. Wring it out. Then mop 150-200 sf. Pull it off throw it behind you and continue the process with the next mop head.

This allows the customer to always be cleaning with clean water, and not dunk wring and push the dirt around.

Then throw the microfibers into the washing machine. Dont use Fabric softener and dont run them through the dryer and they are ready for the next cleaning.

We are talking about normal people NOT carpet cleaners.

Making it more complicated then it is...

Purified water, 4-5 microfiber mops.
Good grief use any general purpose cleaner and follow the directions.

Use whatever the hell you want. purified water or "general purpose cleaner. if you use the wrong mop with the wrong technique all you are doing is pushing the dirt around. most customers use a mop and a mop bucket. That water is clean for the 1st 10 square feet you clean. then you dunk your dirty mop into clean water. rinse it out. and now your clean water is dirty water. clean an area with the dirty water and now your ready to dunk and clean with dirtier water.

how does that help your customer?

microfibers actually make it quicker and easier. why bother mopping the floor if your just going to leave it dirty with swirl marks.

You realize these houswifes get on the internet and start adding vinegar and baking soda and bleach ........and all sorts of other shit to the water cuz they read it on Pinterest?

purified water, Dawn Dishsoap, microfiber mop heads. ooooooooooo diffficult.

Yeah rockhead, 4-5 changes of a mop, now you have to throw them in the washer and hang to dry.
Ohh plus buy purified water because tap water isnt good enough.

All to wash a floor... :dejection::oldrolleyes:

have you ever seen a microfiber mop? Its like changing a swiffer. Womens seem to love Swiffers.

Things must be different in Buffalo. Alot of people have R.O. taps at their sinks here.
