I need an air compressor for filling truck tires. Tossed out a couple that just were not worth repairing last Spring and have been using the gas fired one off the duct truck since.

I remember Larry saying don't get one from Harbor freight, where should I get one Sear's, Lowe"s, Home Depot? What size for truck tires?

Thanks

Save yourself a couple of bucks and wear off some that well marbled lard ass. Your friend, the always helpful Willy.

Go to a specialty air compressor dealer and get a 3 phase 23 HP 340 Gal. tank. This should take care of all your needs:winky:
Mardie I thought of that but I'd like to be able to take it home and fill up what ever needs it at home too. I don't have the juice setup to run it and I wouldn't be able to haul it without busting my nutz. Something is always flat at home, fourwheeler, lawn mower, wheelbarrow, drag mower, gocart, lawn cart, its like musical chairs with flats. I green slimmed the drag mower but the rest I keep filling with an air bubble. :dejection:

not sure what you mean by "shop size"...cause a "shop size' you ain't gonna throw in your Prius to take home...

Thanks Larry I think the Hot Dog would work well. They can move it to where its needed and I can still take it home once in awhile to keep things aired up.

Thanks for your help!

then go wit the Mikita...cheap and will last the rest of yor lif.........it won't supply a sandblaster or a da sander but you can add a spare 30 gal tank and have plenty to blow up balloon animals fo the grandkids........
