I politely declined as it barely covers the cost of gas to pick up and deliver. Our minimum to pick up\clean\deliver a rug from a customer's home is now $250. We offer drop off spots around the area where customers can drop and pick up their rugs at a good discount. Even there, it would have cost $200.

People have no clue how much things cost. Especially people that are retired on a fixed income. You need to make sure your mind and income outpace inflation. Every 11 years things double.

I only do crazy stuff on residential because that’s not my living or focus. But I usually get shafted even when I know the peeps. I have minimums for everything. I’m not in the money losing biz. My partner is always telling me, you don’t have time for that!!!
