in a buddy's truck at A/T HQ. They're re-plumbing it and a bunch of other stuff too.

I'd sure like to ditch my dual round tanks and get a new single tank myself. he said it cost about $2200.

Very cool!

I modified one of the dual flat bottom tanks in my 777 with a cone bottom... along with a complete tear-out to copy modern A/T's ;)

Right on!

Ashley, do you remember appx what the fab shop charged to modify your tank? thinking about doing the same.

your truck looks bad to the bone. especially with them dual zippers.

Also, Judging by how much work this took me, I would have charged $1000 bucks to do all the work.

Cutting out the baffles was a PITA!

I wish i would have just ordered a new one from A/T :/

For the paint, I coated it in citrus strip and then wrapped it in Saran Wrap for a few days, this lifted all the paint off, and I just pressure washed it.

After all the welding/grinding etc,
I used an orbital sander and wet sanded it with 400grit paper.

This have it a super smooth matte finish with no swirl marks.
