At the beginning you see him light a cup of fuel and swing it into the other pipe. That starts an up draft of warm air, then the main burner keeps the draft going. Pretty cool.

Dan, have you engineered one of them yet so I can add it to my porty? I can see if you have adjustable flow water through the tank you could put this up the hill a ways and then have a hot shower downhill.

What did the army use them for? hot water for the Kitchen? Or do you extend the pipe up through the tent and have a nav gas/kerosene tent heater humidifier? Using the water as a heat sink. I see it has an adjustable spigot for more or less heat.

I can definitely see Mikey burning his eyebrows with that...

Lol. In this case Rick I'm just a Google expert. Don't really know anything about these except what I found online. Their output is listed as 35K btuh, so about half the heat of the smallest LG - but twice the chance of losing your eyebrows!
