I carry two 360i's on the truck, one for backup, so I put the 15"shroud/head kit on one of them. It's freaking awesome. A lightweight (45#) large area machine.

edit: I was posting on an IPad and it posted when I pushed the # button.

Anyway as I was so rudely interrupted, here is what the machine looks like:

It's probably not as aggressive as the swoop head, I haven't tried it on a rat nasty, and you can't do stairs with it, but so far the cleaning results are excellent. Machine motor doesn't seem to strain at all, so you are just cleaning large areas much faster.

I tried one with the VATS

it would bog down like crazy...we had the motor smoking.
Obviously too much vacuum was the issue.

Art how many jobs have you used it on?
You don't miss the agitation of the swoopshoes?

It's possible you had a bad motor on your 360i, Mike. You should try it again with your new 360i and SS370, I'm certain you will like it. The two i's that I use don't have bogging problems and I turn my TM up to 1800 rpms and 17" of lift on some jobs. With the Teflon heads the machine is smooth like butter. I am looking forward to using it on CGD jobs. I use the 12" quad head when a carpet is trashed (just because I carry both machines) but I will try it (the new 15" head) on a trashed job when I can. I've only used it on five jobs because I just got it but so far, no problems.

could very well be.

So is it the smoothness you like or the increase in size?

or both?

You may want to trade a i in for an XL and have the choice..

The smoothness and size and weight. The XL weighs 15 pounds more then the 360i15 which takes it out of the EZ lift category.

Yes, the XL is much heavier but works real well for commercial applications.
I have a 360; 360i; 360xl; and the original Mytee. I've used the Mytee only a handful of times - powerful machine but very cumbersome and more difficult to use than is necessary. Also lacks adjustment features.
