If it moves people away from olefin, I'm all for it.

My confidence in the carpet industry's promises of performance is a bit jaded though.

I hope to be proven wrong.

I was impressed that the FTC rarely ever approves a new category in carpet fiber. They must believe that it is different enough from polyester to call it something else.
To me that is good news.

Well they also have the PET which is the pop bottle polyester. This is the PTT. Then they also call polypropylene polyolefin.
