Mine doesn't rattle. Smooth as silk. However, I don't run cotton pads. I bet with cotton, there probably is some vibration, but nowhere near as much as the old style OP machines.

the OEM wheels were a pita on steps.

Nothing has rattled loose and I would guess I have 20 hours on it.

It barely rattled to begin with and now with the 8"s it's even better.

Maybe one day, I too will be able to have one of those machines.

I can picture it now, pre-scrubbing the nasties, getting carpets drier-faster.

I ran my Brute today for the first time. I ran Tuways to pre-scrub a pizza parlor and it shook so bad my hands were numb. Then I post pad-caped it with some cotton pads from Rick G and it ran so much smoother.

I ordered some Gpads tonight to try out.

Hello Chris

I will be at Mike Fest. If you can bring your Brute I will make it run smooth. No Charge of course. If you can not bring it, I can send the parts to you if you can change them out.

Wow.

That's pretty cool of you! They'll have to come up with something else to complain about now.

Even if John's driveplate would fit I'm not sure it would work well. The weight is different (heavier) and the counterbalance is designed for the lighter driveplates that Clark makes. Just guessin' - don't know for sure.

I ran one of John's machines while at Clarks. It vibrated a good bit more than my Defender. I have to assume it's because of the pad driver.

Hello Jeff

The CCS pad driver will fit the Orbitec equipment. And so will the Challenger, Hruby, HOS or Vento. You may get some vibration because the pad driver is heavier. But it will fit.

And Jimmy the larger 8" wheels are are $12 each. They fit with no modification to the axle.

Now I'm going to the game. GO GIANTS
