I have a onan in tact thats works well. The bottom frame rusted out.

I just gave away 3 Onan engines due to lack of parts availability. Good luck. Put a Honda 24HP in the TM and wish I had done it sooner, less than $1500 to change everything over.

This engine is very popular and if maintained will last a long time.

a lot of Onans have been used in that application

personally, having owned an Onan, and knowing a couple dudes with Onans in their Simplicity garden tractors, I'm with Rhino1

not that i think Onan is a bad motor, just that parts and service aren't commonly available like the major brands..Briggs, Kohler, etc
