on the phone now with PMF seeing if possible...
Group buy!!!
2" tube (possibly Titanium)
two jets
with two piece PMF Teflon Glide..

How wide of a head does it have?

Love my prochem stair tool, but it's got like a 4-5" head. Too many strokes, led me to the wand. 8-10" would be perfect.

sometimes I wish other members here (besides mikey) could come up with some great ideas and introduce cool new tools. Mikey always seems to be a step ahead of the game though. Thanks mike, I may just get one of those neat stair tools.

in all honesty though, Tom's devastator wand / stair tool swivel head would be better IMO

I totally agree with glides for wands but not so much with stair tools. In my case where we don't agitate stairs except with a "shoes for crews" Size 10 I like to use a stair tool unglided for added agitation.

OMG you need to work on your technique. That's some damn loud butt kissing.

Try not to slobber so much and it will be much less apparent!

or... OR. just buy a nice 2" wand, cut it down and pay a tig welder to put it back together.

I cut the wand down they gave me with the 870. 15" head. It's now 4', haven't had stairs yet. Can't wait to try it out. I clean from the top to the bottom then flip the tool and clean the risers going back up and vacuum down. Video coming just for Marty. 15 minutes flat.

Gene...You really haven't seen a staircase since you installed that beast?

Wow!!
Haven't seen a staircase since I cut down the wand. That was last Monday. I did use it today, or tried. To much vacuum, need a glide. The length seems fine. wand was sure quiet without a glide blocking it off.
