I was looking on the rotovac web site and noticed some new things. I asked for more info and got a call from rotovac.

It seems there is a new 360i model. Not sure I can remember everything exactly, but supposedly there is are new adjustable handles, gungrip.

It now has cast aluminum so corners are rounded instead of squared and combined with a 2 inch opening instead of 1.5 inch there should be better air flow.

New hardened gears and motor.

A switch on the handle.

High psi valve.

Hoses placed better, in front of handles.

The Tile and Grout head looks different. It has a vacuum ring with small holes all around it. The bristles are low for grout. It looks like different jets instead of flood jets.

A new Carpet Brush head is now available. It is like the regular carpet cleaning head but with bristles instead of nylon guides to ride on. Can be used to clean with or just to agitate.

It all sounds pretty good to me, but I am not experienced in such things. What do you guys think?

I have the old rotovac and I love it. All my customers swear that it leaves the carpet drier then the wand. I only use it when the carpets are nasty because it is actually harder to move then the wand with a glide. Sorry I haven't seen the new one.

I have the rotovac 360. The improvements sound good. I have Green glides on it.<<< They do make a difference. I was going to take mines apart and have a welder put a 2" port on it. I'll just have to call and see how much a new base plate is to upgrade it. I do like the new adjustable tilting handle. The teeth on the old one isn't cutting it. They Wear down quick with normal useage.

I also have the orginal rotovac. It does do a great job on trashed carpet. I also have glides for that too. More agitation without them on but wetter carpet. I perfer the 360 over the orginal RV.

I now have a TI wand and seems that I'm just a plain old slow cleaner. It takes me about the same time to clean, but I can tell you that the TI will flush a boat load more water then the 360. I have a filter box with a pumpout in it, so I don't worry about filling up my WT. :D
