Cleanfax article starts off sounding like its going somewhere, then starts to sound like sales letter, but never talks about the machine he came up with.

I checked his website, doesn't really say much about his cleaning busn. I was wondering what his version of 6 Step cleaning process involves.

When looking at patents I like to look at the prior art that is referenced. Usually some interesting combinations, to wit:

Downey (steamin demon...)

Monson (RX, Powerglide, RV)

and...

Zamboni (you'll have to fill in this blank)

looks like that flood tool you ride on with its own vacuum
Anyone tried it?

In reading the article (wasn't that long) he obviously never heard of glides and 2.5" hose.

Max extractor, They showed all the early proto-types at summerfest a few years back. It was very cool.

Isn't that the Phoenix flood extractor? For water removal. Supposedly the best extraction method that recovers the most amount of water out of all the drag tools. But a lot slower then the Dri Eaz Rover but it's self contained with the extractor attached.

Kurt was discussing the Hydro-X extractor and Vac pack. This is now owned by Phoenix. Also note that the article was reprinted form 1 1/2 years ago.

they must be getting a little hard up for material

If the machine is already been produced, why not write the article with the updates and referencing its performance in the field rather than make it sound like its "new". That would be like us writing about 2.5"hose and glides as if they were a new thought.

Yes, that was the original Hydro-X, which Kurt sold to Phoenix.

Vac motors have improved greatly since the dual vacs he originally used.

It is still a very good extractor . . . at about $7500.
