New wands from Westpak

A new way to put a full length spray bar on a low profile/two inch tube wand..

An AW29 with a lower profile and an included glide

When you mentioned it on the phone I envisioned something a bit more elegant........

looks to me like pinching off the tube to make room for the spray-bar would drastically reduce airflow. No thanks

Yeah..I'm wondering about that choked down tube ending as well...or is it just to get the velocity up and that supposed to have equal lift at the wand lips? I'm not sure thats a good idea...

But maybe....if we put in a choker at every 50' section of a hose run to speed up the airmovement maybe that would work too? kinda like putting in a 1.5" connector in your 2" vac line at every connection.. anybody tried that before? This maybe the stupidest thing I ever thought of...I need coffee this morning.

yep
as the shear angle increases, you lose penetration.
to compensate, one must increase PSI and flow
what ends up happening is...(besides spray/splashing ) you just use more water for same clean as less PSI with a "normal" wand


BTW, that wand doesn't appear to have a bad (excessive) shear angle

that's why adjustable shears are great. If the place isn't too dirty just take 5 seconds change the sheer and voila, faster dry times!

If trashed just leave them aiming straight down.
