The following picture is of the crew that did some cleaning and color correction at The White House last evening. I am in the middle next to Chris Howell that invited me to participate.

It was a real treat.

Here is a video of the layout of the space called The Situation Room:

You may remember this famous photo taken in there:

What did you actually do?

We cleaned all the carpet. All the blue wall to wall got an additional technique that Chris Howell calls color wash. There was stain removal and spot dying done in the now famous room pictured.

Sam, where did you get a pic of me? My friend turned down a j0b at the white house as a food inspector so they sent him to Vietnam.

LOL

No pics, or a Saiger video?

How are we to take you serious?

That is up to you.

Now concerning the events that led up to entering the West Wing. Chris Howell explains it on a Facebook post this way: "They (The White House) perform a very thorough FBI background check on everybody. It's a requirement that each person be a US citizen who was born here in this country. The Secret Service police also perform very thorough vehicle searches, including using dogs to sniff for explosives and other hazardous materials. It's quite a process to get in. But I've been working there since 2001 and I'm pretty much used to it."

While I witnessed the vehicle searches, I might add while inside the first gates, but before the next set of gates to the property where the White House is, we were all searched with a handheld device similar to the ones used at the airport. But only after we emptied our pockets.

Once the crew of 6 entered the West Wing off the parking lot, we were greeted by armed staff managing the entrance desk. We were asked to give up all phones and any other electrical devices before entering The Situation Room directly off that same entrance hall. We were told that we were not permitted to take pictures in that shorter West Wing entrance hall or The Situation Room at any time.

Sorry no pictures. Just a memorable adventure that a Mikey's Board member had to finish off 2015.

Respectfully submitted,

Tom Monahan

We did a water loss at a nuclear power plant. Administration building flooded and it took hours to get the trucks through the Salle Port. Every truck was inspected and they had a driver move our vehicles. They also paired each of our employees with one of their security personnel for the duration of the day.

We do work at the Air National Guard and the vehicles and background check must happen before allowing us on the air field.

It's a bit nerve racking to rush over for an emergency only tnto have to wait. At the power plant they took us to the cafeteria and fed us breakfast. It was difficult to eat knowing we had an 18,000sqft building the was flooded just waiting for trucks to get cleared.
