this house is bigger than it looks.
4 bd rms, two full baths, good sized lv rm, nice sz kitchen/dining area and laundry rm.
attached garage w/door opener, central air
They're about 1400sf, built new 5 years ago
if you qualify, your rent is only $480 a month...pretty foolkin GREAT for this county ..you won't find ANYTHING this nice for that price.

makes you think the folks that rent these places wouldn't get evicted for stOOpit stuff like not paying the rent...

and they always leave us free stuff too...how nice of them
BTW, there was a hand written sign taped to the door

"TAKE YOU SHOES OFF"

Like anyone WOULD throw anything away in this house....

Then I discovered they were Harbor Freight shoppers when i found this on the floor.

so i figured they can't be "all" bad

then I discovered what I suspect is the reason they wouldn't pay rent

Seen alot of those lately... Is that VCT tile in the kitchen? We have a few apartments that have those. I still cant figue out why they would put that in apartments. If you strip and wax it, the residents gonna use pinesol on it

I didn't look, but thought of JB.
I was going to take a pic, but my digi cam was out of film

yes, Joe, that's VCT.
I don't GAS about the pine-sol
it's the 15-20 coats of mop 'n glo..and every coat goes over a dirty floor...

Pretty nice, I'd like one for my son like that, with fewer rooms.

Bad area?

no, not at all.
that development is in area of homes ranging from "entry level home buyer " 900sf ranches and bungalows to 1/2 million dollar lake side condos and houses ..and everything in between

There's "some" amount of white trash folks in the 'ville, as there's a fair amount of rental properties.
Earlier in the last century (early/mid 1900s) there were lots of cottages and they've been converted over the years to small rental homes.
so there's "some" amount of white trash folks in the 'ville
( typically associated with any area that has a fair amount of low price rental properties.)

But by and large, most folks own their homes and the 'ville isn't a "bad area" by any means .
Pretty typical blue collar mid/mid lower middle class 'hood with a recent sizable portion of mid/upper mid class homes/condos

no, this particular development is in Lake Milton, RW

here's the place you're referring to.
.commonly called the "projects"
and also known as "the patch" to the immediate locals

hmmm, i thought I had more pics of the Projects, maybe they're on my other 'puter's hard drive???

anyway, here's one of the buildings we boarded up before they tore it down.
It's typical of all the multi-family buildings in the projects ...only not in such disrepair .

Picture444.jpg

here's what they've putting up in it's place .
You can also see one of the inhabitable buildings to the right of that new house
