Little over 3000 square feet of carpet and 2000 square feet of tile and grout. 2 Butler truckmounts, 3 of us on the job. Was at a men's recovery home. Took the longest in the residence rooms having to do wall to wall and move beds, dressers and some personal belongings, but we hacked it out. Few hallways of carpets, offices with carpets and a lot of tile and grout in lower halls, kitchens and dining rooms! $3000 invoice and we were in and out in 6.5 hours with the 2 trucks. They have a new building being built and this one is being taken over by the current managers to do similar work. They want us in at least twice a year in the new building and want this older building also done twice a year now! Ok....we can do that!
Even had a bad sewer backup call come in that we said no to.... went to do a quick look since only a few blocks away. Was ugly, no insurance and of course wanted it cheap. Was in a 100 year old motel and was 6 inches deep in the one small room all the way back in a dungeon. Told them which septic company to call and wished them luck from there. I think when they get done trying to clean it themselves they will understand why the price "was so high".
Now, shower time and a bit of social hour! Man do I love having 2 truckmounts!
