Not bad will collect on work that we’ve done over the next couple weeks. That’ll be nice!
30% will come in during my slow months....
Enough to keep us floating...
Just in time to play on the ski hill, spend time with my children, teach them to snowshoe, and cross country ski....
And get back on a snowboard after a 10 year hiatus...

Dude I need a forklift our cabinet division is moving along. I had to move over 2300# of materials from a delivery today I’m sore.

think I’m going to push for a cleaning van by end of January. Once COVID relaxes in our area our salesperson can go out and kill some dragons.

Lease one. A nice electric one with side shift would be easy to use and cost effective to own.

I’ll have to look into it. Didn’t even think about that. We have a ceiling we could utilize racks and we have storage above our office within our metal building that would be a lot easier to use!

We had one for freight orders, 55 drums of chemicals, airmover orders, moving tm's from truck to truck. Came in handy

Business is down from last year but after a record June-September it's kind of a welcome break. Starting to get back on some projects now that I'm not in the road every day. Kids are home from school now until mid January.

7 out of the last 8 months have been record months for us

Jan - March were slower than normal ...especially when Covid started dominating the news in February

most due to deep cleaning disinfectant commercial work

Oh for crying out loud
So what are your thoughts on the eMyth? 😂

other than being 19 and reading a copy of Napolian Hill’s ‘think and grow rich” for a sophmore College class, I’ve never picked up any of the ‘Classics” that business coaches rave about.

they’re like financial help books, you either get it or you dismiss the principles and flounder your whole life

The only self help book I’ve fully read and appreciated was Meditations of Marcus Aurelius 5 years ago

it taught me to be less of an asshole in real life

what Marcus failed to realize was during that path of enlightenment, it’s important to have an outlet like Mikeysboard

Our disinfecting just exploded beyond my expectations. It’s looks as if we will finish the year 1/4 of our gross janitorial. Way exceeds all other additional services.

We did not advertise. All of our customers were aware of our service. We even helped some implement their own program if they felt that was best for them. The relationship is priceless.

Nice, similar circumstance . still being in janitorial really helped us secure some additional work when residential carpet dropped in February

credit due to @Jim Pemberton for our early conversations during the ‘gold rush’ phase of this pandemic... sage advice from the Master about protecting yourself and not promising or exposing yourself

a few local guys I know have REALLY executed successful marketing blitzes and made a killing ( and continue to do so)

always considered this a ‘stop gap’ mechanism to revenue that would end within a few months

I’m thinking now it’s going to be tapering process by businesses , eventually .... but will always be part of their protocol moving forward

Ahh the window seat....

if only I could get Maria on a plane

the one thing 2020 has taught me is how much I miss travel experiences

I’m thankful for the business boost that has kept us occupied, but it is no replacement for living life on m y terms

As I have said previously, I thought for a brief moment my niche might be detrimental, but the opposite just happened to be. The disinfecting will taper in frequency, but won’t return to zero for sometime, if ever.
