I would buy stickers and patches with the MB Vac logo that Say “Board Certified Master Textile Cleaner” It sounds every bit as impressive as “IICRC certified” for marketing proposes .

Either way the patch is just an ego boost. It doesn't mean a damn thing even if you DID "earn" it.

That guy is doing nothing different from the IICRC...You can send them money for your patch too.

I don't know.......I don't think custys are impressed with a cleaner that has patches running down their arm. Just my 2 cents.

He works for someone else for the last 12 years...Best hand you could ever have! ...245k per year for coit.us single van...4 days per week...The kid rocks!

Crap I may have an old IICUC patch in an old Millers safe I could make my custy real happy with a patch :shock:

Does a card the say's carpet cleaner and carpet inspector exp 12/01/86 mean anything?

Thats when Dr Edgar P York Re did his numbering system.. He called me and offered me a number in the double didgits for a special deal... I was first a certified operator and inspector with the IICUC in Aug of 81.

At that time I didn't know how to kiss ass, just whip it, so I got #0000174 so sorry your low number is not in proper sequence. 0-99 sucked butt or had something on ol Edgar, after that it was the sec choice. (which is how the sequence got screwed up orriginaly, but that another story)
