The guys just got back from an office when a small deer ran through a plate glass window. Hurt and disoriented it was bleeding and ran throughout the building as the employees chased it. Blood was on the walls, carpet and tile floors.

We had a 2-man crew cleaning for 3-hours removing all traces of the blood as well as vacuuming up the damage. They did wear PPE to protect themselves but unlike human blood, there are no regulations for the handling and disposal of infectious materials.

Its rare but we’ve cleaned it up before when the break through a glass door in a home but in those cases the deer got back up and stumbled out. This one did not make it. He died and they carried him out on a door runner. Everything cleaned up fine, no staining or need for painting.

The property owner just had us out to another of his buildings last Saturday. Heavy rain pooled in the driveway outside the building to the point it came in from beneath the door and some large windows.

You just never know what you’re going to run into working here. :winky:

Ooops there are still 4-technicians on site. The two I saw come in couldn't work passed 5:00. One of them is on vacation and driving to Chicago tonight.

I was knocking down some high areas and a snake narrowly missed being mowered. So I gave him a shot at getting away, if he didn't raise up when I went back by I'd keep mowing, if he raises up, he's dead. Smart snake.

A rabbit ran out of there too. I gave him the same shot, but he lit out running for the tree line. :winky:

I thought about Jim Pemberton and his love for snakes. That's why I gave him a fair shot at life. ;)

I also figure he eats his fair share of field mice. I really just wanted him to get his ass out of my yard. With the grass cut down he will slither over to my neighbors. The hawks will get him if he stays in my yard. :winky:

Just buy a sports car.....
I wish. I live on gravel roads, dust clouds fly 30-feet in the air as I fly by in my pickup. In the winter the drive can be UN-passable for 2-wheel drive.

Ya know I've always wanted to be a vigilante. I better practice shooting though. Right now I'm only good at hitting the barn. ;)
