Re: ok boys and girls

How competitive a bid?

.08 -$1,600.00
.10-$2,000.00
.12-$2,400.00
.14-$2800.00

10-hours 1000sq/ft an hour per setup, initially you may clean faster but over that duration average 1000 sq/ft

I like .12 that's $240.00 an hour or $120.00 per setup.

.16 to clean , 3 men - 2 cleaning and 1 scrubbing/prespray

.05 to stain guard.

2 set ups of 700 feet will slow you down. Actually, how much of it can you dual wand?

Open area - get someone to come help with an RX and double your production.

hungry for work at times, but I've been there before, dropping my price to get the job, then kicking my ass half way through because I realize I'm losing money.
even 10000sf, IF I could do a 1000sf/hr, it would be one step cleaning only, no prevac, no prespray. If you're implying I should do it for $2000, 10cents/sf, I could make that with a lot less effort and wear and tear in residential in the same amount to time. While I was busting my ass for pennies, I'd probably miss out on some good dollars.
Why do these big office companies think that cleaning shouldn't cost anything?

Without seeing it....

around here, I would be the only one who could do it for one thing with that long of runs; part 2: would be a minimum of $4000 thinking at about 40 runtime hours at $100 per hour but more than likely, I would be at .30 cents sq ft so more like $6000. I would be hoping that our production rate could be higher than 500 sq ft an hour if the conditions were right for a better profit margin.

exactly.

screw the pride thing.

how much do you want to make an hour to pay your credit card bills and fill the girl friends' fridge?[/quote:3s3lzn07]
That becomes the question. How much can I clean (prescrub, rince and protect) an hour and how much do I want to make for that hour?
IF , that's IF, I could maintain 500sf/hr by myself, it would take 40hrs, at $100/hr gives $4000 for a weeks work. Would you work all week for $4000 Mike?

That ought to make for an interesting week, if you are running day jobs. I will bring my cimex and we can tag team it!

Have cimex, will travel.

Good luck on that one Ron.

700-800 ft hose runs?
Just because you can run that much hose doesn’t mean it’s efficient. Why not have a crew running a porty and maybe a cimex?

You would never get that price here, I would cimex it for .08 cents.
20k sf would take 1 guy 6-8 hours. Nice day of work putting zero hours on the big unit and it will look much better at that long of distance.

Thats changes how you price it. Thats a very short time frame in the middle of the f...... night.
Several set ups and take downs, and makes it difficult to keep day schedule if thats your main bread and butter.
