Ok chem nerds, why would this not be safe for wood floors?

reading the back label, I"m guess that they dont want o be held liable for over use of water on wood, but I'm surprised there is no mention of laminates not being ok

You know it would be ok on laminate, wood too for that matter. You can’t hardly hurt laminate. In your little dog video, it looks like you might have the same floor as mine.

Looks like it has glycol ether in the ingredients and that solvent may take away a little of the shine on some finished wood floors.
are you referring to the original polyurethane finish that came with the wood ?

Bought some ZEP hardwood/laminate floor cleaner from Menards.
Found it left a residue.

Do the mirror test to see the results.

Been using just glass cleaner and it works better.
I just mist and wipe with a microfiber mop to maintain

Yup. I use non ammoniated ZEP glass cleaner concentrate at low doses and it works very well. On cruddier floors, a VCT type neutral cleaner and a rinse. White or microfiber pad to buff after cleaning.

Either ammonia or non ammonia glass cleaner.

You see Richard if you use the ammonia version as you mist the cleaner on the floor...........the sub atomic particles of ammonia will flash off as it makes contact. Thus the moment of contact is very brief. Just enough to dissolve the soil. And enough wetness to be able to gently wipe off. The extracted soil load is then ENCAPSULATED in the microfiber mop. Leaving a RESIDUE FREE surface.

DOESN'T THAT SOUND LIKE ALL THE MARKETING BS THAT SCAMPOO MAKERS USE?

WAKE UP AMERICA!

ENCAPSULATION IS A.................FRAUD!
