I've always been against putting prices on the websites....but I've placed some whole house specials etc to attract the middle of the road customer.

I've got guys calling me for work and that's great...so I need to produce more customers.

The prices are fair enough for the average customer but high enough to scare away the price shoppers...maybe. lol

After all is said and done, the specials are pretty close to my normal prices....it's about 10% off I guess with exceptions.

Let me know what you think.

I am in the process of updating my prices.

3 areas $119-$149
5 areas $179-$199

And so on

Price is determined depending on their soiling conditions which I will go over during my in-house consultation with them. I thought about going to sq ft pricing but after all that is involved i feel its not the style of pricing people want.

I am thinking of offering a minimum charge of $75 for 1 room. Right now I have 2 areas for $89 for my minimum.

Who me? I gave that up in high school Ken. !gotcha!

For the size of house we usually do ....it will be fine. Most customers will say "it's probably considered 2 rooms".
At the end of the day, it's still square footage pricing.

The 3000 to 4000 sqft houses we do, they expect to pay much more anyway.

Why is it people with high cleaning prices have such a tiny min???

you charge $50 a room but only have a 89 or $75 min??

Its a very inviting number. Plus I dont do a lot of minimum jobs now anyways, so why not offer a single room price.

LOL- me too Brian. Why not make it easier to find the specials on your website? I had to hunt for it.

Where would you suggest putting it? I could put it at the top I guess.

I thought it was pretty "in your face" now.

I could go with the "if someone isn't looking for a special then I don't want to help them find it" idea.
Or
"If someone IS looking for specials, they will surely find it"

But I'm open to suggestions.

Doug, my minimum is $100.00 with few exceptions.
