Old customers coming back?

Anyone else seeing this?

we've hand many "clients" calling that we've not serviced in over 4 years or more.

Some I figure refloored, some I feared went the cheaper route, moved or died..

Most just went DIY and now have given up.

i have also been noticing this trend too perhaps, the economy has affected some more than others and putting off their carpets to the last minute. one of my customers lost my company info and used SS and she said they did a horrible job, she said found my card stored up somewhere and decided to call me back after 3 yrs. have passed.

We have had old customers call lately, and schedule, that we haven't cleaned for in several YEARS!

We email our database with reminder cards regularly, so we do stay in touch.

Weird, but...

Been noticing this over the last year. Don't you get the post cards back when they move?

Regulars have been putting it off, or going longer between cleaning for the last 2 years.

Some just don't have as much extra income.

The good thing is more are cleaning instead of replacing and I bring in a lot of new clients.

I get this all the time, and I am having my slowest fall season yet :x

That has happened a lot lately. It does seem like some couldn't afford to pay anyone to clean their carpet. It appears to have been a few years since the last cleaning.
