This is in our local City Hall. There's old finish on it.
There's almost no chance I would tackle it but I'm curious how some of you would deal with it. Thanks

Just to be clear I'm not under any pressure do it.
My experience is carpet and vct. We took over this janitorial account and the previous janitor put finish on it then kind of removed it.
But if they never have it done right are you saying it could be stripped with traditional vct methods

Yes!!!! Strip it. And either polish it or refinish it. No big deal. I refinish most of mine, which are in churches. Time is of the essence and can’t waste time in between pews, so we refinish.
