How would a Steamin Demon perform, compared to the Rotovac 360i quad head, hooked up to a MasterBlend TF3500???

I used the TF3500 at 300psi with the three vac; motors on a grease laden poly; carpet and wondered if the Steamin Demon would do any better.

Carpet was also bonneted after, using the Sprayborg and Tuway MicroFiber 21 inch Bonnet.

Look forward to some interesting answers, I hope. :stir::icon_razz:

Also, what machine do you consider to be better for residential cleaning, the Classic or the XL Series??

Thank you.

Whatever machine you use, you need some grease eraser and very hot water to cut the grease. I can't imagine a SD with tap water running through it would do the trick. What happens to the cleaning with a SD when the hot water runs out?

Sorry Kev; guess I didn't phrase that to good.

Let's forget the greasy condition of this industrial property, and just work on typical residential properties.

How do you think the SD would compare to the above set-up??

Do many SD's come up for sale 2nd hand, I would need to strip out the wiring & vac; and beef up to 240 volt standard.

Thanks,

the steamin demon NEEDS a pre scrub for sure, especially on greasy commercial carpet.

its a flushing monster with surprising recovery.

if i can't use my AT ...... I use a combo of these machines

speaking of which, I should get a Lisa glide for mine...

its amazing to let someone else extract with it and watch what this thing will pump out... ( ill video it sometime)

If you don't have a Cimex. Encapping with a red pad followed with a bonett does wonders on the nasty commercials

I agree with Dustin. I did a lot of work with the Steamin Demon, and as long as it had a prescrub, it was an impressive machine.

I also was amazed with its ability as a residue remover.

Hey Shorty I posted a question in the hardware section under the thread called Zipper that might be of interest to you.
Just waiting for an answer.
