older crb hums but wont start

i am preparing for sale, a older crb, when you turn it on, it hum but wont turn brushes, it has a newish12 gauge cord. any suggestions

no i dont use procyon, i think its electrical , it hum then trips breaker

What type of CRB is it? If you'd like to call our office on Tuesday, Rodney's our our tech man, and he can probably help you. He's good with all kinds of equipment. In fact he used to be an aviation mechanic in his younger years. I'm pretty sure he'd be able to help you get it sorted out.

Pretty sure it is the start capacitor if it hums but don't run.

The breaker wouldn't let it hum if it was bad.

That sounds like a failed "run" capacitor.

Check for the value you need.
