Mikey you DO fill up the filter before you put in back on....right?
the five seconds that it takes to fill an empty filter is hard on yor motor while running!

Oil and filter once a week, get in the habbit.

Once a week??? Unless you do at least a 100 hours/week, I really don't see the need to change it once a week.

I do about 100-150hours.

Oil should be changed every 25-50 hours............... I do it every 50.. if your waiting longer you suck, and your machine will eventually stop sucking

Here is the difference: run the engine 3000 hours.

Do an oil change every 25 hours- that's a 120 oil changes. $5.00 oil filter plus $10.00 oil. Thast $1800.00!!!!! ($2400.00 if you look at 4000hours)

Or run the engine 3000 hours.
Do an oil change every 100 hours- that's 30 oil changes. That's only $450.00!!

From my own experience- I believe if you change the oil every 100 hours, your engine will easily run 3-4000 hours. And you save almost as much money as a new engine.
