You are correct oh Eagle Eye....

I actually just skimmed over that hoping that they would just get the idea that it is in place.... :)

and, I didn't do the video part turning the fresh water tank back on but made big notes on the YouTube portion as a reminder....

Will say, like the simplicity of the replacement/ repair. More companies should do more research and development around future repairs and the making of easier to replace parts and pieces on their units.

It is never a question if a part will fail, it is about when it fails and the ability to be back up and running quickly.

To me it is worth a lot more than the part is worth to have something that a tech can easily implement to facilitate the repair. And this is coming from a guy that is cheap.

I agree with you, more companies need to think about not just making a quality machine but making the repairs as simple as possible.
It makes owning and caring for our equipment as headache free as possible!!!!

I like things as simple as possible to but with as many orings as I have that leak from female connectors not sure I would want it. Maybe always being connected would make a huge difference. I always blame the heat but maybe it's the twisting and disconnecting.

I think that when they are always connected they don't wear out and leak. I have not had one of the quick disconnects on my system leak, but the ones that connect my tools to my pressure hose sure do wear out pretty easily but those are used many times a day, where as the ones on the system rarely ever get used .

I also believe there is no pop-its in the Butlers quick connects, it's free flowing q/d's.... Not touching them consistently is probably the reason it lasts... I assumed all that by watching @Mark Saiger video....

Could you do a video on how to do that on a 1200 pro for us too? Scott is into video maybe he could show us?
you really want to go there? what a dick. Marks compassion for butlers is well known. and i dont comment on videos where he is helping butler owners.
that being said.
if and or when i have to change it on my pro i will make a video for you guys. however, i can just drop it off at my distributor and get it fixed, no grease on my hands. :)
butlers use of quick connects is something sapphire could and should learn to do. from the looks of marks pressure regulator it may even be the same as my pro. the pro1200SE has an automatic unloader so the pump doesn't put out pressure unless your using water.

Mark is that how yours works?

There are "wear items" Butler does not guarantee for 10 years but it's still a great warrantee. That includes pressure regulators, belts, nitrogen accumulators, hoses, etc. I've used the warrantee for a few items and it was great not to have to shell out $$

I do just like you, Mark. Each truck has a "ready to go" plumbed pressure regulator on board in case of mid-job needs. It's a 3 minute swap out if you're able to use both hands. ; )

Our 2010 has 5600 hours and is still on its original pressure regulator. (knocks on wood.)
