Opinions on how to charge for hotels

Hello All,

I have booked to give estimates Wednesday on a hotel cleaning. The hotel is probably around 30k sqft.
I'll be using a porty (which they seem to prefer). It's a Mytee Kleen-Safe. I'm just wondering: what would you charge
per sqft for a job like this?

Any and all opinions welcomed.

Oh, by the way, if you have an M-5, do you keep it as a cold water extractor, install a heater, or by
an inline heater separately?

All the best,

Angel

I charge 10 a room in Oklahoma. Its pretty saturated with carpet cleaners.

Angel, what it "worth" and what they'll "pay" are often miles apart.

if you can get them for $15 pr room, you're doing good

.15 to .18sf for the halls and open areas and you should be able to make a fair profit

I am so fortunate to get $20 a room and $1 a running foot for hallways from AmericInn. Suites are $25 to $30 and the tile and grout $.75 to just clean. Once or twice a year for the last 3 years with tm, I run the hose through the middle room window on each floor. One floor each Monday so they can keep them near empty.

Thanks everyone. I'll have to take these options into consideration.
How about highrises? Any particular average on that?

Thanks,

Angel
