Orbit vs Cimex

What is your opinion on the two machines other than the great auction offer on Mikey's board. which one would you prefer
on large or small jobs.

If you're a VLM pro, you'd want both.

Depends... Do you do rugs or grind & polish stone? If so I'd go with the Cimex... If you just want to clean commercial carpet either will be fine. I think the Cimex is more productive but the Orbot will remove more soil... Visual apprearance will be comparable. The Orbot can be used on some residential jobs especially for pre-scrubbing prespray or padding after extraction & can be used for polishing stone with Gorilla pads or Monkey/Cheetah pads. \

I use the Orbot every day in Residential...padding with Peroxcellent (encap)
Works awesome.

If you're doing mainly commercial then the cimex is good because it's a monster compared to the orbot.

I own a cimex and love it. I use to scrub in and lay down pre spray at my restaurants for hwe. I have a 100,000 sq ft commercial account I do and the cimex has played a key role in making a very competitive bid profitable
