It’s going to be a first responder water damage truck, smaller than the other trucks we have, this is only a 14-footer and 8-ft wide.

They messed the order up and didn't even install my custom racks and it wasn't noticed by the driver until it got back here to Kansas. The racks are back on the floor in Dallas. So it's looking like iron and no custom aluminum racks. :x

I have a month to get her rino lined, install racks and get lettered before the real cold hits and it goes into use.

Oh and it's a Chevy......just to keep Ken Snow off my back about imports! :p

Got to get to work on it!!!

Nice! Does Dan get to drive this one!?
Doug you can't get that Fourrunner away from him. Although it would make a nice vehicle next time you two crash a dinner! :p

Thanks Bill! I like it too, really smooth ride more van like than box truck.

Pretty sure Ford's 14ft requires DOT cert now Larry, which is why we and I think richard go Gm.

Looks sharp 8) .
I would have gone Ford. The Ford engine/trany seem to last longer. Not that that will matter for Chavez because they will trade out for new long before it is at the end of its useful life.

It’s gross vehicle weight not the make that requires DOT regulation, not make. From what I understand, there is a “tool of trade” exception if is not used for delivery and does not cross state lines.

We own several Fords, at one time we were mostly Ford. Right up until our lease agent could get us Chevy's several grand cheaper than the Fords. I'm cheap, as much as I liked the Fords it was easy to switch.

Mike its not that bad. LOL Usually our vans are long past broke in when we trade them in.
