I've got family that are cleaners too...

Brothers, cousins, uncles, retired family members....

So, I ordered some Seal-A-Doors and their new mounting brackets from Ron Hunkins the inventor and maker for Christmas gifts.....

Told him, save the shipping, I will come pick them up when ready (he is about 1.5 hours away from me)....

Ron is one of those guys that doesn't sleep a whole lot either...Always see him up early like me on Facebook and give him a hard time about things there....

Well, low and behold, 7:30 AM this morning....Santa's elf (Ron Hunkins) showed up at my shop with these Seal-A-Doors and mounting brackets I ordered for family Christmas presents!

Talk about customer service....he has been busy as all get out trying to make sure everyone is taken care of in a timely manner, but I am super excited to be giving these as Christmas presents!

Brackets being used on the side of the storage units....I am using them for extra wands and such :)

Marty you cheap bastard he's not giving them to everyone. When does mine arrive? :winky: j/k

Tell Ron Air Duct cleaners have the same issues for sealing doors. While we many times come in though a basement window, sometimes there is no other option but a front or garage door. We may try one for Air Ducts and see if it helps over the old door guard.

I showed your pictures to Dan and the air duct crew and they liked it. I think we will get past the Holidays and give Ron a call.

Just tell him if you run a 8 inch hose through the door or a 10 inch (my brother uses 10 inch)

If you are just going to dedicate it for the duct cleaning, just have him set it up that way....

If you are going to use it also for carpet cleaning, have him sew a flap that drops down to cover that access hole is what I would suggest.

If it works to have one dedicated for the duct cleaning rig, and then another for your carpet rigs....there would be no fighting as to "Who has it now" ....LOL!

Just let me know if you need help with this also Richard.

Take care,

Mark
