Has anyone ever tried it? I see hesco sells it $10.99 for a 6pound jar and $44 for a 25 pound jar. Do you mix it as a prespray? Or do you run it as a detergent. My wife uses it on my 2 year old clothes and it gets everything out. What do you guys think of it?

use it as a booster
needs to be mixed hot
add a couple ounces per gal of RTU pre-spray

it's sodium percarbonate
powdered peroxide

works well as pre-spray booster for many things.

Le$$ expensive than most carpet cleaning sodium perc boosters

I believe Lowes or Home Depot also carries it in those big tubs.

Like Larry sez mix it in your prespray.

In my opinion works just as well as the high priced stuff at distributers.

Can I use it to boost enzyme pre spray? Can it be used as a booster for all presprays? If I am cleaning white or off white carpets can you use the oxi clean as a prespray?

While Wal mart type over the counter oxy products can be used to boost prespray, they do add extra detergents that may be harder to rinse way than products specifically designed for carpet cleaning. This results in more villainous residue and faster resoiling.

They also include more fillers. This makes the product harder to dissolve, you will need more product to provide the same degree of boost and you are more likely to have a powder residue on the carpet when you are finished.
