The dividing line are those attempting to clean the best way (for profit) possible with the latest equipment and techniques, and those wishing to seek profit with the least work and minimal investment possible.

It's plain horsesense

exactly!

work smarter not harder. after hauling brick and mud for 3 years and then laying brick for 2 years, that became my motto in '93.

Same one I've been using since 1988, PadPrick.

You know the one. It's the commonly accepted method that is endorsed by the two major carpet mills in America and is the method of choice by the vast majority of carpet cleaners, and is expected by the vast majority of customers.

Hint ... it doesn't require vibrating rags across the carpet pile.

Back and forth method to method, this is great, that is great, but never learns how to use anything to it potential, so now all of a sudden it is the "same" method for 19 years... LOL

Trying a new method is wonderful, and the smart thing to do, as long as it is putting money in YOUR pocket, but let that same cleaner relate the failures of padding and then he's a flake that can't decide which method to use.

And to think you can say all this while keeping a straight face ...
