A couple idiots broke into the local college's baseball field and used Field Marker Paint (not sure of the mfg yet) to spray gang signs on the newly installed turf.

What would be the best way to approach this? Powerwashing?

Thanks,
James

I would think so, high heat, high flow most of those fields have a drainage system to handle the water. Should probably check with the manufacturer for recommendations.

Field marker paint is usually an egg-based tempura. It will take an alkaline prespray to break it down, then pressure wash to rinse. There may be a ghost of the paint until it weathers and wears away though.

On Murray State's football stadium the mfg suggested we use Ammonia. Contractor painted the field right before a thunderstorm (seems they only had indoor experience doing the Ram's place at St.L).

Our task was to "clean it up" where the paint ran. I recovered the extracted water (800gal) because I didn't want to be blamed for any uncooperative runoff.

Turned out great. Hot hot hot on the field, even at midnight.
