or is this (new?) Sunkist Orange version noticeably more flexible and compliant?

The Mango Orange-Yellow stuff was ultra stiff, the Chem Who Blue a bit better and this orange is great.

or is it just new and will stiffen in time?

How often do you guys buy new hoses?. I've had 100' of chemwho 1035 for about 5 years. I've had the ends re-crimped but don't see the need for replacement.

I bought some Parker Parflex 7/8 years ago, just now took it out of commission, ive had to splice and re-crimp it so many times over the years it has gone from a solid 300ft to 230ft in 6 sections :eekk:.
Sunno***un was a PITA from day one, but man, as soon as I stick on 200ft of Neptune, Ive lost 20F at the wand :icon_rolleyes:

I will be ordering another 300ft section of Parker as soon as I find a buyer for my Kidney.

Man that sounds great, the other Parker wasn't bad once broke in but yours sounds even better. I'll need to order some in the spring. We've only got a few more weeks of carpet cleaning before it dies for the winter here.
