I've heard the Foster male end is too small or too big for most of the females out there. Depends on who you talk to.

I bought fosters this last time. They have mated so far with everything I have. I've had issues with hansens not fitting everything.

I had one shipment not mate up good. Not sure what brand they were as they were unmarked.

Let me know if you find any reasonable 1/4" SS males anywhere.

Surfed a few sites today and saw prices between $18 and $20
that's just plain gouging or they have passed way too many hands.

Wish I were still a Hansen distributor.

they all will meet up but here is the catch. I use the stainless and after the wand imprints it, it will no longer without a great deal of force go into another brand. I switched back to brass for the male ends.

Talk to Richard from STL. He posts here from time to time. I've helped him clean their corporate office in St.Louis.

He knows the owner really well. Maybe he can shed some light.

Personally I go with fosters, stainless steel.
