Part pricing question for Bill

The price Legends Brands qoutes for parts vs. what they sell for in the real world is unbelievable!

For instance they qouted $2950 for a PTO that I purchased locally for $1100. Shall I continue? How about the pto solenoid. They qouted $385 and I got the same one from Parker Store for $164. Their Xentherm is about $500 but half price from Dynalene.

I really do want to like Legends Brands cuz I'm a fan of their Sapphire Line. But I'm afraid of being made a fool so I hesitate on the purchase of any of their products.

So Bill what kind of price reductions can we expect to see for the above items once the parts go to direct sales?

I'd expect to see prices on average be about 40% less it is important to note that the low volume usage of many prices means we receive no better pricing than people may be able to locate some items for locally. If we buy 12 a year there isnot much of a discount the Parker valve is a good example.
Regarding chemical dilutions they mirror product lines such as Prochem at a lower price so I'm at A loss as to some other comparisons

No problem from my view this may indicate that we are not communicating dilutions etc very well. I need my guys to look things over and make sure we are competitive. I want your business, and to get it I know we have to prove that by selecting our products your getting a better overall value. I'd rather get your gut response than have you be silent.

Guess I'm a little dissapointed Sapphire doesn't offer a powdered Traffic Lane Pre-spray w/ built-in enzymes, oxidizers, and fresh scent.

My experience is powdered pre-sprays can be just as affective as their liquid couter parts. Also, cost less money and more economical to ship. Besides, I get all the free water I want from the custy's house. I know dozes of cleaners feel the same way.

I'd love to see an awesome powdered traffic lane pre-spray from Sapphire priced right.

so right after bill posted about scott i called. and :shock: :shock: very surprised at the pricing and not in a good way. the hollow/skeleton panel i bought last year direct from blueline for about 400-500 dollars is now about 1100 plus shipping and no, they are not making it out of gold. scott told me that stainless has tripled in price and that is just what it would cost to make it.

i am not feeling all warm on the inside anymore it will be a sad weekend. and i know it is only 600 more than before but i had a budget for both of the trucks and wasnt on track before i heard this, now some deciscions have to be made.

Our approach to Enzymes is the amped product which allows you to use one Prespray and boost it when needed. Enzymes have different chemical characteristics than other ingredients in that they take about 15 minutes to get really going and they only last about 8 hours once they go into a solution. Thats fine if you use all your traffic lane each day but if you want to store it over night you really need to recharge it to get the results you most likely expect. using a booster like Amped actually saves you money.
