Persian rugs and natural dye

Hi,
I happen to color some parts of Persian wool carpets with natural dye for wool. Can any of you advise me on how to fix the dye on the wool?

Did the dyes run when cleaned?

Oh man.


Pre wash with dry stabilizer. Gotta let it bleed until it stops, rinse rinse rinse. Then acid rinse some more. If you let it dry you may be screwed. Magic Powder by Masterblend can help removing the red bleed, but it is a lengthy process if you have a lot.

It could be worse.

Randy, I think he's looking for a way to get the dye he's using to stick. From previous posts it seems he's been doing dye removal for awhile.
